The Elite Soldier Unit "Klessirpemdo" (精鋭剣士団「クレスサーペンド」?), also commonly called the "Guardians of the Moon" (月の番人?)[1] is a group of characters that appears in Soulcalibur III's Chronicles of the Sword mode.

All of them serve Aurelia, ruler of the Kingdom of Dalkia.

Members[]

Stages[]

They do not have a stages of their own, but in the two stages in which you battle them, these stages have their own effects:

  • Lupi has the effect of all attacks are Guard Break the first time you face her. The final time she is faced, she wields the Blazecleaver. The final effect she uses against the player/cadet is All Unblockable.
  • Heal-Do stage has the effect of making it slippery and wet for the player, which compliments her title of "Water of Origin".
  • Elua has the effect of "wind", where you are pulled to the side of the stage, raising the chances of a quick Ring Out.
  • Aege has the effect of an earthquake, which begins a countdown to the ground shaking and, if you don't jump or crouch and guard, you stop what you are doing and shake, opening chances to take damage. When you face her the last time, she uses the earthquake and the same power as Keres (in Tales of Souls), Abelia in Chronicle 18 (Guardian Force) and Girardot in Chronicle 15 (Impregnable) which makes her immune to throws and also gives her super armour (prevents her from getting into hitstun when attacked).

  • The nicknames of the Klessirpemdo's members and the names of their weapons all relate to the four Greek elements.
  • All of the members of the Klessirpemdo change their outfits in Chronicle 11. In Chronicle 19, they all change back to their original outfits.
  • All members of the Klessirpemdo are playable in Chronicles of the Sword. All of them will join the player in Chronicle 19. However, Lupi, Aege, Elua and Heal-Do will only join if the player did not recruit Riese, Meiga, Eurydice, Kanon or Leraje in Chronicle 17.
