How is she unlocked? Gold? What? DiSlOcAtOr ChRiS 14:15, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Here's how

If your talking about Amy in SCIII, here's how you do it.

First: Beat her with any character in Tales of Souls mode. Note, you must follow a certain path, and if you lose, you don't get a second chance. You'll have to start over to get to her again.

Second: After beating her, a new mission in Missions mode will appear. It's called Beloved. I think you have to beat it on normal difficulty. After beating it, vwhala, Amy is yours. Btw, just a fun fact: Amy represents the Rapier discipline for custom characters.--SoulEmbrace

Um...I meant SCIV...whoever wrote that she is an unlockable character in SCIV should tell me how to unlock her...the put that in the article. DiSlOcAtOr ChRiS 16:34, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
The game's not even out yet! When it's out we'll know.--Richard 16:45, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Um...actually some managers at game stores like Gamestop use the stock, so one of them probably put that lil tidbit of info out there... DiSlOcAtOr ChRiS 16:52, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

FINALLY!!!

She got announced for Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. I finally got someone to main again besides old Raphael.

A birthdate?

I cannot believe I didn't notice this despite all the edits made. It says her birthday is on September 10, but where is it really mention officially? Many sites say her age is 14 and she was born on 1577, and there was no exact date mentioned. Where did the September 10 rise and became official?

Vandalism?

Uhh, it says:

Her trademark Gothic lolita outfit matches her cold demeanor and pessimism.

Is that the actual term, or is it vandalism? It's been there a while. Ryo626 18:55, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

That is what the style is called...Gothic Lolita...--74.136.182.209 06:25, December 22, 2009 (UTC)

Soul

What lies in her soul is loyalty? And yet she pushes Raphael into a pit. Wierdperson31 01:05, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Amy's age

I keep hearing that her age is 14, apparently in some printed japanese guides and whatnot. Is that true? 76.174.85.9 04:21, December 28, 2010 (UTC)

If not, it should be listed as unknown.76.174.85.9 05:40, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
Amy is stated to be 10 years old when Raphael first met her. She's probably 13 or 14 by the time we get to SCII-III-IV's era. But since, to my knowledge, her age has never been officially listed, we should stick with 'unknown', but maybe with a reference to the whole '10 when Raphael first met her' somewhere? Mintia42 07:23, January 25, 2012 (UTC)
It's listed everywhere as unknown and that will appear on her page. Suuusuuu 17:38, January 25, 2012 (UTC)
Amy's age really is 14. I know that 'cause I saw it before Namco change it to "unknow". :)
186.63.13.82 15:26, February 1, 2012 (UTC)Danielaa0045Amy's age
I agree that she is 13-14 but now someone added that she is 12.. I don't believe it... Can someone fix it again to unknown??
Amy is actually 14 years old since Soul Calibur II, and is still 14 by Soul Calibur IV. A cameo of Amy could appear in Soul Calibur V and her age is still 14 (because Amy is half-vampire and her vampire blood tells her not to age). (DecadeHansen (talk) 16:58, September 3, 2012 (UTC))

Actually neither Amy nor Raphael are vampires: they are "just" malfested, as malfestation takes various forms in the game. For example: Ivy does not age while she isn't a vampire; Raphael is supposedly a ghost now (he died at the end of SCIV and now his body is used by Soul Edge), etc. If their state can change, Amy could have been "cured" and lost her memories to become Viola. All we can say is that Amy doesn't have any official age, and we won't know it before a long time... If ever! (11:06, September 4, 2012 (UTC))
Found some new information concerning her age. It seems the English version of the Raphael profile I cited made a small, but significant error in translation. The English version flat out says Amy was 10 when she met Raphael. The original Japanese one actually says she was "less than 10". Mintia43 (talk) 20:20, October 8, 2012 (UTC)

Amy appeared in Soul Calibur II

Why was my edit reverted? She appeared in Soul Calibur II's opening scene, it should say so. I did put "not playable", at least.Dragon3025 17:37, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

It is already stated in the "Series appearances" section. Infobox is only for actual ingame characters. Suuusuuu 18:33, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

Latest change, dont know where to put this, but amy Could been 7 when she met Raphael.

okey I dont know where to put this but I really wanted a answer to it.

http://soulcalibur.wikia.com/wiki/Amy?diff=104928&oldid=104927

so I noticed someone made an edit on her profile about the amy-viola thing and someone else took a part from it away saying "There's no way Amy could be 7 at the time and Viola never stated that she's 24." I have to say the first part isnt true. Cause I have counted on it and it is not just possible it is actually very likely she would be seven. you see, Amy met Raphael after the events of Evil Seed that was set around the year 1584. soul calibur IV is set 7 years later in 1591. if she was 7 at the time he met her she would be 7 years elder in SCIV, meaning she would be 14. that my friend, is not impossible.

and the reason to this person saying Viola´s age was 24 is cause it says that in her Wikia profile, however the SCV website doesnt say this so I dont know where the information comes from, but it does say she´s 24.

You, my friend, didn't even bother to understand what was I saying. Amy couldn't be seven during SC IV. Not during SC II. And there's no information that Viola is 24 years old. She's "24 Tri-color stars", whatever that means. Read more carefull next time. Also, there wasn't any 7 years gap between SC II and SC IV. And there's no way she could be seven, she looks way too old. She looks like she was at least 15.

Comix77 (talk) 11:14, November 10, 2013 (UTC)

yes I did, I read your text several times. and sorry if Im not the best english reader.

but as I said, I counted. you want me to prove it?. the events of Evil seed happened when soul edge accpeted Sigfried, at the time Sigfried was around 16. how do i know that? well his 16 in Soul Edge. Siegfried is born in 1568, 1568 + 16 is 1584. conclusion = evil seed happened around 1584.

in the game soul calibur Siegfried is 19. meaning its 3 years after soul edge. from SCII to SCIV Sigfried is 23 years old meaning its 4 years after the game Soul Calibur. 3 + 4 = 7 . conclusion = 7 years after evil seed the events of SCIV takes place, in year 1591.

do your math before you say there is no way that can be.

oh, and "24 Tri-color stars" can easily been misstaken to mean 24.

Siegfried didn't age from SC II to SC IV as well. There's no time gap between them, so he couldn't. Amy appeared in SC II when she was already older than 7, it has nothing to do with Evil Seed nor Soul Edge. There's no math to do, you're just mistaken. And who could have thought that tri-color stars are years ?

I never said Siegfried aged from SC II to SC IV. you didnt even read what I wrote!. I said he aged from Soul edge to Soul Calibur to Soul calibur II/SCIV. cause there IS A TIME GAP. between Soul edge and SCII! 7 years I say!

and ofcourse this has with evil seed to do, dont you know how Amy and Raphael met? Amy hid him from his hunters, why did people hunt him? cause he went crazy on the events of evil seed, killed a supporter of his family and thats why he had to run. Amy hid him, he dopted her. Amy only appears in the intro of SCII and that scene is probebly a flashback in raphaels life to when he met her, 7 years before SCII. you can not possibly mean she look much elder than 7 in the into of SCII. I think youre the one who is misstaking, cause you think Raphael met Amy in SCII. and that is not correct.

and I suppose youre from an english speaking country, but no all of us are. all of Viola´s basic information are like seer-talk. "day of prayers to vesta" "a place of roses and lilies" "twisted strings of red and blue". whoever read it might not even have focused on the "tri-color stars" beacuse he/she maybe didnt think it even mattered. honestly i dont even know what it means, I just say it is easily misstaken for ayone who isnt used to talking about seer-stuff in english.

I'm not from an English speaking country, and some users seem to have a problem with that, but I didn't know that they met before SC II. Raphael meets her in the intro of SC II and that was a little bit confusing. So yeah, the first part is my mistake. But Viola's and her age are still different, so the trivia is wrong anyway. Still, you had your point, my bad.

Comix77 (talk) 17:30, November 10, 2013 (UTC)

Youre not?, oh I´m sorry, I took a to fast conclusion. my bad.

But youre right on the viola part, so yes the triva was wrong.

Stage in SC4

Amy's satge is OC: Throne Room NOT wolfkrone Monument

in every game she was sharing the same stage that raphael (SC 3, SCB:D), and Viola has a stage similar to Raphael in SC5...she has NO connection with hilde or wolfkrone.Arishimaru (talk) 00:16, January 7, 2014 (UTC)

Source? I can't find anything: nothing on 8WR, nothing on YouTube, nothing on Hoshino's twitter... (05:59, May 6, 2014 (UTC))

Jeffery, you deleted Arishimaru's comment. Anyways, I it up and it said she was a confirmed future character along with Rock, Cassandra, and Seong Mi-na according to Video Game Blogger. In the article, it says that he wrote a tweet that said Amy Sorel and Seong Mi-na got the top votes in a recent event that happened in Japan, but like you said, there isn't any Tweets that says he is confirming any characters but it might be a possibility that these four might return. (Xlr8rify (talk) 11:13, May 6, 2014 (UTC))

We could write on the page SC: LS mention of this article. Xlr8rify, you deserve a prize for finding it because I tried on multiple sites some lead on a possible character. Arishimaru (talk) 15:39, May 6, 2014 (UTC)

Did I delete his comment? My bad, maybe we edited the page at the same time :S Anyway, this website is totally mistaken: Amy and Mi-na were voted as most MISSED characters, not FUTURE characters. Nowhere on Hoshino's or Bandai's twitter account could be found such information. I'm sorry to break your hopes, but NOWHERE is it stated officially that they are coming back. HOWEVER, as everyone is against me (jk ^^), I'll let the edit this way until further announcement :-) (19:01, May 6, 2014 (UTC))

Jeffery, I can't believe I'm saying this, but for once, we actually agreed on something :D But seriously, you're totally right.

Comix77 (talk) 19:46, May 6, 2014 (UTC)

I read the article again, and you're right. The website is mistaken. I checked Wikipedia for Soulcalibur Lost Swords and it said they were voted the Most Missed like you said other than them being confirmed. My bad. :/

part of an interview for a gaming site in Portuguese

"Eurogame Portugal: Do not think it is just 3 characters for the launch, as we will be able to unlock more?

Masaaki Hoshino: In Release 3 characters will be available, but will unlock other playing, never new that would sell for cash. Of course you may have characters through premium option, but the commitment of the game give you access to characters too.

One of the things we plan to do is interact with the community about the fighter would like to see next in the game. Only recently did that question during a program, and fans chose Amy, Soul Calibur IV, which unfortunately has not been in Soul Calibur V. This communication is very important for us to give players what they want, to make the franchise grow with the users. " Arishimaru (talk) 21:14, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
