[edit] Speculation
It is possible that he is the Evil Side of the King from the Prehistory
The Wiki article says that a recent interview revealed Algol as a playable character, however the interview referenced mentions nothing of the sort. Perhaps the statement should be revised?
I thought that's what he meant by "I want people to have fun by his buzzard actions", maybe I should change it to it is implied
A recent character selection screen shows him as a selectable character, so it's not an issue anymore. :)
Cheers, you got a copy of that?
[edit] News
Lots of new stuff added!
[edit] Appearance BS
Why doesn't he appear for Siegfried, nightmare or ivy? DiSlOcAtOr ChRiS 05:51, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] For Siegfried and Nightmare
Well, for Siegfried and Nightmare, he doesn't appear for them cuz, well, they fight eachother. You know, battle of epic poportions. Not entirely sure about Ivy though.
[edit] How does he fight?
If neither Olcadan, Charade or Edge Master appears in SCIV, than who's the randome charcter? The guy who randomly selects another character's weapon and move set? I thought it would be Algol (since he wields 10 different weapons) but it says different. So who is it?--Maverick King 21:30, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
There isn't one, which is a shame cause I alwways thought those characters were cool. And yeah, Algol fights with ten different weapons (apparantly, if someone could point out what those ten are I would appreciate it :D), but he uses each of them in different attacks. I never really cared for mimicry characters in fighting games(with the exception of Dural from the Virtua Fighter series). I always find them boring and generic.:P--SarahPaiFan 16:54, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Possible Trivia Addition?
I went back and played SC2's Weapon Master Mode for the heck of it and checked out Algol. Well, it turns out, that's the chapter in the storyline when you take Soul Calibur (Evil) to be purified by some old man. Well, I just thought it was kinda coincidental (or planned) that Algol's story involved the purification of Soul Calibur, and the chapter in the area of Algol involves purifying a re-contaminated Soul Calibur. Think this should be added to the Trivia? Aerandir 20:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
