The Legendary Souls Showdown was a Facebook event made to celebrate the series' 20th anniversary. Eight fighters from the Soul series are pitted against each other in a bracket-style tournament where "fights" are won by popular vote based on comments. The overall significance of this, if there was any, is unknown. There were multiple tournaments.

- These tournaments also include characters that were not present in Soulcalibur V.
- This is the second popularity event hosted by Soulcalibur's Facebook. The first being the Soulcalibur Series Character Popularity Poll.
- During these polls, the third fight always happens before the second.
- During the 2nd poll, the 5th winner of the fight wasn't announced: the result was published with the result of the 6th fight.
- The 3rd poll was announced with the first fight, Xiba vs. Leixia. No official bracket had been released beforehand.
- The third tournament went on an indefinite hiatus since Patroklos vs. Pyrrha in December 2016. The entire tournament was cancelled alongside the Anniversary event altogether.
