Phlegethon (プレゲトン?) is one of Cervantes' weapons in Soulcalibur II, Soulcalibur III, Soulcalibur IV, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Soulcalibur VI.

Note: Opponents will receive 20% chip damage whenever they block an attack. Range is reduced by 10% for Cervantes' left hand. Moves that are Unblockable at Level 3 Soul Charge are Unblockable at Level 1.
Weapon Gallery profile: Flames run along the blade when this sword strikes a target, and it is said that there is no forge on earth that can melt it. Soon after being found near the crater of Mount Etna, it was taken by someone and disappeared, leaving only rumors behind. Its deadly flames would surely take their toll on any opponent.

There are two methods to obtain Phlegethon: the first method is to defeat Cervantes in Tales of Souls, although the chances of obtaining it this way is low; and the other method is to simply purchase it in the Weapons Shop for 36,300 Gold. However, you need to unlock it first before it'll appear in the Weapons Shop's listing. There are two ways to make it appear in the Shop's listing:
- Fight a total of 625 matches.
- Clear any of the following stages during Cervantes's Tales of Souls:
- Stage 23 (Maxi)
- Stage 24 (Mitsurugi)
- Stage 25 (Yoshimitsu)
- Stage 26 (Unknown Soul (Li Long) in the Grand Labyrinth)
Soulcalibur IV[]
It can be bought in Character Creation for 7,500 Gold after completing Story Mode with Cervantes.
Soulcalibur VI[]
Description: Flames burst forth when this sword strikes its target. It is also said that it can never be melted, even in the hottest of furnaces. Shortly after being near the crater of Mount Etna, it was stolen, leaving only a trail of rumors in its wake. While many of the stories are likely apocryphal, the ones about its flames inflicting unhealable wounds are true.
