The Nightmare Fauld in Soulcalibur IV.
Nightmare Fauld (凶夢の腰鎧?) is a wide, spiked, grotesque-looking fauld that is worn by Nightmare in his 2P outfit and is available for male characters in Character Creation in Soulcalibur IV, both male and female characters in Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny (where the male version of it is called Nightmare Tasset (凶夢の腰甲冑?)), and later as DLC in Soulcalibur VI where it was now called Apocalypse Fauld.
Soulcalibur IV[]
This Lower Leg Equipment raises Attack and Defense by 30, but decreases HP by 10. It is unlocked at the start of the game.
Soulcalibur VI[]
It appeared as part of the DLC5: Character Creation Set B DLC pack for Soulcalibur VI, as male-exclusive equipment.
Trivia[]
- In Soulcalibur IV, you could not equip 1P costume parts on characters, only 2P costume parts. However, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny added 1P costume parts as equippable items. As such, Nightmare's faulds from his 1P outfit were added to the game, taking the name Nightmare Fauld, only available to males. This equipment was renamed to Nightmare Tasset but only the male version. For some reason, the female version is still called Nightmare Fauld.
