Appearance[]
When he first appeared in Soulcalibur IV Night had Black, medium-sized, messy hair. He also wore a chain mail and Soul Edge armor like his master, Nightmare (2P). In Broken Destiny he wore armor similar to his Soulcalibur IV appearance, except various parts are either black or red. In Soulcalibur V, with him no longer serving under Nightmare, he wears a chainmail but loses his Soul Edge armor and Soul Edge itself.

Soulcalibur IV[]
Nightmare's Apprentice was a young boy who was found by Tira and bought to Nightmare tas a sacrifice. However when he made an attempt to escape Nightmare noticed the darkness within his heart, seeing as he would stop at nothing to escape. He was sent on a quest by Nightmare to find a fragment of Soul Edge shortly after he became his apprentice. When he found the fragment it suddenly became armor around his body. As well, the fragment fused with many others that just happened to be nearby, creating his Soul Edge. Once he gained his Soul Edge he was told by Nightmare to feed it with souls. While running on the top of a castle he found Cassandra and planned on making her his first sacrifice. However he didn't want to hurt her as it wasn't in his nature and he felt a slight hint of attraction to her. After failing to eliminate her he lied to Nightmare, claiming she had somehow paralyzed him during the fight. Later, still hunting for souls, he came across a young male around his age. Trivia[]
- In Night's first appearance, Soulcalibur IV, there was not enough space to use his orginal name. Causing his name to appear as "Nightmare Ap".
- This problem is not fixed in Soulcalibur Broken Destiny.
- For some reason, despite being the apprentice of Nightmare and having an incomplete Soul Edge, his Soul Edge looks like the complete version used by Night Terror
