Lucius Alexander (ルーシャス・アレクサンドル, Rūshasu Arekusandoru; Greek: λούσιος Αλέξανδρος) is a character in the Soul series of fighting games, making his first playable appearance in Soulcalibur III.
Biography[]
Lucius, the youngest child of Acheleous and Nike, and he grew up loyal to his family, loyal to the gods and training to become a strong warrior.
One day that both Sophitia and Cassandra were out to fight the Evil Sword, Lucius decided to go help his sisters, Ariadne decided to join him, and even though they couldn't find either Cassandra or Sophitia, Lucius and Ariadne fell in love.
While Lucius and Ariadne were away, Sophitia's Daughter, Pyrrha, was kidnapped, when they returned Lucius and Ariadne decided to stay to protect Patroklos and their home while Cassandra and Sophitia saved Pyrrha, though they didn't know Sophitia was working for the Evil Sword in order to protect her daughter. While they stayed at their house a lot of minions of the Evil Sword attacked them, trying to get Patroklos and destroy their home, but were slain by Lucius and Ariadne.
Through the years that followed Lucius and Ariadne married, and had 3 children: Sophia, Demetria and Matthias. Until one day Lucius and their 15 year old daughter, Sophia, went on a journey to find Pyrrha.
Physical Appearance[]
Lucius has blond hair, pale skin, and green eyes, like the rest of his family.
Personality[]
Lucius is determined, confident and never doubts his actions. He will not hold back when it comes to protect his family and loved ones, he attributes his strength in his beliefs in his skills and the gods.

Fighting Style[]
Having trained with Sophitia, Lucius is mainly a counter fighter. He is, like his sisters Cassandra and Sophitia, quite an aggressive fighter, because of his right side throw and his Seraphim Strike, followed along with the Painful Fate combos, and his Heaven to Hell throw. He can avoid attacks and hit with an attack of his own. Like his sisters he is awful at long range, but makes up for it in attack throws, close quarters, strength, and speed.He is a lot more skilled and does more damage than Cassandra. He can also dash in and attack as well with a variety of moves.
Critical Finish[]
Divine Palladium: Lucius slashes his opponent with his sword on their chest, pushing them back and then he jumps on them using them to launch herself spinning into the air. He swings her sword at his opponent stunning them. He then gets into a praying position (Possibly praying to Zeus who in Greek mythology could use lightning bolts to attack enemies) and a flash of thunder comes striking his opponent down.

Lucius is derived from Latin lux that means "light"

In Soulcalibur III Lucius wears a blue breastplate and gray pauldrons and White armlets with a blue shirt, white pants and blue and white boots. In Soulcalibur IV Lucius outfit it's a casual version of his Soulcalibur III outfit without the breastplate and pauldrons
