Tulio El Muertos (ツリオ・エル・ムエトス, Tsurio Eru Muetosu) is character in the Soul series and made his debut in Soulcalibur IV and retuned in Soulcalibur V. He reappears in Soulcalibur VI.

He uses the same moveset as Cervantes.

Physical Appearance[]

Tulio design is that of a pirate although much later he becomes more of an undead pirate. During the events of Soulcalibur IV his skin pigment is light purple and his hair, beard and eyes are light red. In Soulcalibur V his skin has now become darker shade of purple and his hair, beard and eyes are now white.

Before the events of SCIV he had normal skin tone and light orange hair and eyes.

Soulcalibur IV: He wears a dark cyan pirate hat, a dark cyan, white collar open shirt with brown leather belts and light golden trim, a light golden jeweled necklace with a red gem, white pants with a purple sash and a brown belt and brown boots.

Soulcalibur V: His wears the same hat but colored dark bluish purple, dark blueish purple leather coat, a white shirt underneath a brown leather vest, brown fingerless gloves, a light golden necklace, grey pant, brown boots.

Soulcalibur VI: He wears a brown leather cap, a dark cyan two-tailed coat with gold trim over a brown short sleeved shirt, a pair of bandages around his forearms, white pants and brown knee high boots.

Secondary[]

SCIV: He wears a white leather cap, a brown sleeveless coat, grey armguards over a white cloth, held together by a brown cloth, black pants with a white sash and light golden jewelry and brown boots.

SCV: He wears a brown leather cap, a grey sleeveless linen shirt, white cloth vambraces, white pants and brown shoes.

SCVI: He wears a shaded purple pirate hat with shaded gold trim, a pair of small shaded gold pauldrons with grey leather underneath both and spikes and a shaded purple gold trim cloth on the left pauldron, a shaded purple two-tailed long coat over a shaded white sleeveless shirt, a pair of small shaded gold gauntlets over a pair of grey frilled gloves, a grey glove with a small gauntlet underneath the right glove, white bandages on his right arm, grey pants with a brown belt and a pair of shaded gold greaves with white fur.

Personality[]

As can be seen in his quotes he is mostly mean and cocky towards his enemies although when he was younger he was friendly and kind. being trained by Cervantes and corrupted by the Soul edge fragment he becomes more and more evil. overall he is a mix between natural and evil

Weapons[]

Matar[]

A longsword used by Tulio. It was forged by himself and has served him many times before and after he joined Cervantes crew. unlike any other longsword it has a three edged tip while other have only one. It was destroyed 5 years after SCIV. It name means kill in Spanish

Cortar[]

Tulio second longsword, it has a curved blade & the tip is bend downed serving has an extra edge. It has a silver edge and the inner of the blade is dark red thanks to the Soul Edge fragment inside it. it name means cut in Spanish

Pena[]

A pistol sword it serves as Tulio secondary weapon. It name means Pain in Spanish

Stages[]

The Audaz - Wrecked[]

Tellus ship, used during his travels after he founded a soul edge fragment this one is set in broad daylight, seagulls are flying by, another shipwreck can be seen at a distance, and there are islands surrounding the stage. Certain parts of the ship's gunwales can be destroyed allowing for a ring out.

Merchant ship: Under Battle[]

"Keep hope close, for it may not be there at the end of your journey."

The stage is set on deck of a sinking merchant ship. There are many pirate ships in the background, constantly attacking the stage. The stage is multi-tiered: at random, after a round, a cannonball from one of the surrounding pirate ships hits the merchant ship and both players fall to a lower level of the ship with three walls and an opening.

General[]

  • His fighting style is Spanish for "Double Sword Style"
  • His family name is Spanish for "The Dead"

Soulcalibur IV[]

  • His ending shows him changing Soul Calibur and Soul Edge into a Longsword and Pistol sword but with both swords mixed with each other, similar to Embrace of Souls

Soulcalibur V[]

  • Tulio was originally suppose to wear Cervantes 1P coat from SCIV.
  • In his ending, he fight against Inferno who uses Cervantes corpse similar how he did in Soul Edge (game).
    • Inferno also uses Cervantes 1p costume in SCV, minus the hat.
  • Tulio becomes possessed by Inferno after being defeated by him, making him similar to Cervantes.
