Kawashima is a fellow Fu-Ma ninja who trained alongside Ken under the latter’s father. Despite being Ken’s subordinate, Kawashima is three years older. He uses Kagenui and has Invisible as his skill in Soul Calibur IV. During the events of Soul Calibur V, Kawashima had already retired from active duty and started a family with Katherine.
Katherine is a British woman whose parents passed away when she was a little girl. She was discovered by Fu-Ma ninjas and taken into the clan. As a ninja, she formed a strong friendship with Kawashima, but she went missing in action during a mission. She returned to Britain and became a cold mercenary for a few years. Coincidentally, she was eventually hired by Toki to hunt down Taki, which led her to Ken and Kawashima. When Ken decided to delay the order of capturing or killing Taki, Katherine decided to follow Hayabusa’s lead, because Kawashima had done so, indicating that her feelings for Kawashima never vanished. She uses Assassin Daggers and has Venom Fang A as her skill in Soul Calibr IV. During the events of Soul Calibur V, Katherine had already retired from active duty and started a family with Kawashima.
Leucothea is a water nymph and the guardian of the Jingu Staff. She lent the weapon to Xie Yu before the events of Soul Calibur IV, and later lent it to Owen just after the events of Soul Calibur V.
After the events of Soul Calibur IV, Helen moved to the Americas away from her family for fear that she would go crazy out of her malfestation. Her home became a small abandoned castle, and she eventually recruited five mercenaries to aid her in watching for potential Soul Edge servants.
Brigitte plays the role of a scout, spy, and even thief in Helen's mercenaries. When she and her allies are up against greater number of enemies, she is the first attack and disorient the enemy before the others finish the job. She uses two hunting knives and has Natsu's fighting style.
Oneida guards the castle during the night. Despite being Native American, she wears a European full helm, having been sent to Europe at a relatively young age. She has Astaroth's fighting style and uses Monster Hunt as her weapon.
Being less experienced in battle, Henri serves as Helen's butler. Whenever he fights, however, he uses a sword and shield. Henri has Pyrrha's fighting style and uses Brave One.
The 18 bronzemen are eighteen powerful monks that serve as the Shaolin temple's exit exam. In order for a disciple to leave the temple, he must defeat all eighteen bronzemen, one after another. Owen is one of the several disciples who have defeated these warriors.
