A type of rapier with a thin blade. It was used by European nobles and knights for duels of honor, but it was uncommon for it to be used on the battlefield. Its light weight makes it difficult to knock aside enemy weapons, but it can be manipulated to keep the opponent's attacks in check. It is a very thin sword, and in the cutscene 'Dark Lord' on Soulcalibur 3, it is the weapon Raphael uses to poison his opponent, unless you watch the cutscene from event viewer, then he will use Flambert. Also, in French, Epee means Sword, so it is basically a sword called Sword.
In Soulcalibur IV it has the native skill of Shave Damage C, which allows the bearer to deal a small amount of damage to a guarding opponent.
