Assassin Dagger is one of Taki's weapons in Soulcalibur IV. It, along with Rekki-Maru & Mekki-Maru, is available by default. It has Shave Damage B equipped by default as a skill, which shaves HP from an opponent even if the player's attack was guarded.

Soulcalibur III's Assassin Dagger, compared to the dual Kodachi form in Soulcalibur IV, is usable to custom Thieves and Saints able to use the Dagger discipline (available to Thieves by default and must be unlocked for Saints by leveling 10+ or more. Its skills are the increase in attack power and penetrating defenses to inflict damage, making it one of the best offensive weapons in the discipline. Oddly, it cannot be used by Assassins.

Widely used by European assassins, it is said that their manufacture was banned by those in power who feared assassination. Designed first and foremost to guarantee a successful sneak attack on the target, they only have the bare minimum killing power.
