The Eiserne Drossel is a ring blade used by Tira. Nothing is really known about this weapon. In Soulcalibur III, the blade of the ring is dull on the inside but sharp on the outside, allowing Tira to swing it around without injuring herself. Alternately, in Soulcalibur IV, certain attacks like Hisi Baroque (Gloomy =>B) and Grim Reaper (Gloomy B+K), cause damage to Tira, allowing her to change from her Jolly Side to her Gloomy Side, and vice versa. Originally, Eiserne Drossel was known as Aiselne Drossel in Soulcalibur III, but the name changed in the following installment. The phrase "Eiserne Drossel" means "Iron thrush" in German.

- Drossel also means "choke" or "throttle", but it can be inferred that in this use it was meant to be "Thrush" in keeping with the bird theme surrounding Tira.
